Phonological awareness

Tasks of Phonological Awareness develop students’ skills in understanding and discriminating linguistic units (phonemes, graphemes, syllables, sentences), breaking down words into syllables, analyzing words phonetically, manipulating sounds, and associating sounds with letters.

Grammar skills

Tasks of Grammar Skills develop students’ skills in matching word endings, distinguishing between parts of speech in word combinations, sentences, and text, forming and distinguishing their grammatical forms, consolidating spelling cases that require memorization and applying the strategies of rewriting.

Coherant language

Text Comprehension tasks develop students’ ability to distinguish the meaning of similarly pronounced and spelled words. These tasks help to understand the meaning of the words and text students read, to remember the sequence of events, and to interpret received information.
